This epistle or letter from Paul to Titus focuses on the qualifications and duties of bishops and leaders in the church. The epistle was written by Paul the Apostle to Titus, a first century missionary, church leader, and companion of Paul. Titus was a Greek Gentile who converted to Christianity and was appointed to be Bishop of Crete. Titus stayed in Crete unto old age and passed there.

Titus 3 More Instructions for the Church

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
