The Textbooks Must be Rewritten
by Owen Borville

Politics

The textbooks from the past must be rewritten in order to remove historical biases, errors, and to discover the truth about human history. For most of history, the media was controlled by very few people, including those few who had access to publishing resources. There have also been biases in each region of the world. In Europe and North America, there has been Euro-centric bias. In Asia, there is bias toward those nations from that part of the world. I would like to present an unbiased view of the development of the sciences in world history, including the natural sciences and social sciences that affect our lives in today’s world. Today, many more media are available than before. I want a media for the people to make a better world. I want to explain how scientific achievement has advanced from the first civilizations in Mesopotamia, Egypt, Persia, India, China, and spread westward to Greece and Rome. The Middle Ages (500-1500 A.D.), a period of about 1000 years, was a time of great achievement from the cradle of civilization again in the Near East, known as the Islamic Golden Age, (600-1300 A.D.) and this achievement helped spur the later Renaissance of knowledge and philosophy in Christian Europe after 1400.

Therefore, scientific achievement seems to have shifted from East to West and back several times and both the East and the West seem to have inspired each other to achieve more and more knowledge. Books were written in each part of the world and later scholars on both sides studied the previous scholars writings. Wars seem to hinder scientific achievement, as we have seen in history, and gaps in achievement are found in the course of human history in every civilization. The study of the history of science can help humanity learn its mistakes of the past and work toward a better future for all of humanity. From new technology that makes our lives easier, to better ways of governing people, the achievements in the sciences can help make our world better, but only if we learn from the past. Humans should learn to stop war and get along better if we want to have a successful future on Earth. Otherwise, there may not be a future.

Evolutionist theory or the belief in long ages of uniformitarian philosophy does not contribute to scientific study or research. All of the scientific discoveries have not been related to or in spite of evolutionist theory and all scientific discoveries confirm creationism. Evolution theory is irrelevant, unhelpful, and even harmful to science by promoting false theories. Evolution theory has not led to one discovery in science. For example, DNA was discovered in spite of evolution theory and not because of it. Established scientists continue their bias with evolutionist theory and uniformitarian philosophy (no special creation or intelligent design).

Creationists are not extremists, evolutionists are extremists because they refuse to update their science to incorporate Intelligent design by special creation. Evolutionists in scientific institution leadership positions discriminate and even block career options for creationists who don't embrace evolutionist theory, despite many qualified scientists who believe in creationist ideas.

Qualified scientists have shown many observational and scientific proofs for creationism and intelligent design, however, the established science industry continues their bias against creationism and intelligent design.

Qualified scientists who believe in creationism and intelligent design must hide their beliefs or face ridicule in their careers, underemployment, and even unemployment.

The established science industry and its bias keeps the progress of science limited by keeping a closed mind and refusing to consider alternative theories for scientific phenomena, particularly when evidence is shown for alternative theories.

Whether it is biological macroevolution, deep time in the billions of years, plate tectonic theory, the big bang theory of the universe, the bias of the science establishment limits new ideas for these topics, and therefore limits progress on finding new information about scientific phenomena.

Scientists can be bought and paid for also just like politicians. Why are so many scientists “convinced of evolution and millions of years” and why do the media outlets usually promote their view?

Why do scientists lose government funding for denying evolution and old earth views? Shouldn't science be open to new ideas? And not be biased?

It seems to be the preserving of the monopoly on origin theory by evolution and old earth science.
