The Periodic Table of the Elements contains unique chemical elements arranged by atomic number and in addition, these  a particular trend or pattern.

Metallic character increases toward=bottom left
Atomic radius size increases toward=bottom left


Ionization energy increases=top right=energy needed to ionize or donate electrons for a chemical reaction

Electron affinity increases=top right=energy released when an electron is added; the degree of attracting electrons or removing an electron from another molecule or ion

Electronegativity=tendency to attract shared electrons to bond with

Valence electrons=outer shell electrons responsible for the chemical properties of an atom
