Biology

The nudibranch is a sea creature that proclaims a powerful Designer and Creator. Nudibranchs are classified with the soft-bodied, marine gastropod molluscs that shed their shells after their larval stage. Known for their beautiful bright colors and body designs, the nudibranchs are often called sea slugs and are a type of sea slug. Nudibranchs are found in ocean floors world wide from the Arctic to Antarctica, temperate, and tropical regions. Their scientific name Nudibranchia means "naked gills" and refers to the gills and horns that most Nudibranchs have on their backs. Nudibranchs can be oblong and flattened in shape, thick, long or short and ornately colored to match their surroundings and provide a good camouflage. There are over 3,000 species of nudibranchs that live from shallow depths to 2,500 meters, most of which live on the seafloor but some live above. Some nudibranchs can make sounds audible to humans, but the purpose of the sounds is unclear. The two horns of the nudibranch allow it to find food and mates.

Nudibranch Defense
The nudibranch commonly obtains or steals its defense mechanisms from its food sources. Nudibranchs will eat marine animals that contain poisonous chemicals and in turn use these chemicals in their bodies to defend themselves against predators. By eating these chemicals, this makes the nudibranch body poisonous. Nudibranchs also eat stinging animals like hydroids and anemones, sponges, jellyfish and corals that have specialized stinging cells, which the nudibranch stores in its body and can install them on its back, which protects it against any animal touching it. Some nudibranchs make their own poisons. Nudibranchs also eat algae from plants and coral for energy. How could the eating of poisonous stinging animals evolve over millions of years and how did nudibranchs obtain an immunity to poisonous animals? This immunity could only be the product of a unique design and creation. How did the nudibranch gain the ability to use their poisonous prey for their own defense mechanisms? Only by a special creation could this be possible.
