Lightning Fractal Pattern

Lightning strikes are known to produce fractal patterns. These lightning strikes begin in the clouds and sometimes reach down to the Earth's surface. The electricity in the clouds causes these strikes.
Lightning is a very powerful electric discharge of electric current from the clouds during a thunderstorm. A lightning strike can occur from one point within a thunderstorm cloud to another point or from a point within a thunderstorm cloud to a point in the air above the surface or to the ground surface of the Earth.
As a lightning bolt strikes, a fractal pattern occurs that can be magnified at smaller scales toward infinity. A small piece of the lightning bolt looks like a copy of the entire bolt.
In addition, the thunder noise produced by the lightning also follows a fractal pattern.
