Lack of Mineralization in Fossils Gives Evidence of Their Youth

Many ancient fossils claimed to be millions of years old by evolutionists and old earth scientists lack mineralization, including dinosaur fossils. The mineralization process would be expected if these fossils had been buried for such long periods of time. Other ancient fossils are partially mineralized, however creationists have shown that the fossil mineralization process can occur quickly within a few hundred years or less as mineral-rich waters absorb the fossil body and precipitate minerals in between the pore space of the fossil. Therefore, the mineralization of ancient fossils does not signify long ages. Many ancient fossils have not changed much since their original deposition, which creationists believe occurred during the global flood over 4,000 years ago. The fact that many ancient fossils lack mineralization gives strong evidence of their youth and their deposition less than 5,000 years ago in the global flood. In addition to the recent discovery of soft tissue in dinosaur fossils that contain red blood cells and the existence of "living fossils" with no recent fossil representatives, more evidence is being discovered for the young timeline of Earth's history within the 6,000 year range.
