The Book of Genesis

The First Covenant with God and man: Adam in Genesis 2:16-17:

​And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

The Fall of Man from God's Covenant in the Garden of Eden:

Genesis 3:15: This is the first reference in the Bible to Jesus and the Promised Messiah. 

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 5:24 Enoch Taken to Heaven: 

24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Genesis 9:9-17: God's Covenant with Noah
God's covenant with Noah after the Flood.

Genesis 9:26: And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Genesis 12: The Abrahamic Covenant

Genesis 15: God's Covenant with Abraham Continued: Promise of a son and land

Genesis 17: Covenant of Circumcision with Abraham, Promise of a son with Sarah

Genesis 22: Abraham's Faith Tested with Isaac and symbolic Lamb of God promised through verse 18

Genesis 26: The Seed of Isaac through verse 5. God extended the covenant through Isaac.

Genesis 28: God's Covenant to Jacob: Jacob's Dream and Ladder

Genesis 37-50: The account of Joseph, son of Jacob, and the Parallels to Jesus Christ
Joseph Parallels to Jesus

Genesis 49: Jacob: The Scepter will not depart from Judah, specifically verses 8-12.
