What is Energy?

by Owen Borville
September 10, 2019
Learning, Science, Chemistry, Physics

The ability of matter to perform an action.

Potential Energy is energy that an object has because of its location.

Kinetic Energy is energy that an object has because of its motion.

The laws of science and nature explain that energy cannot be created or destroyed but can be transferred from one form of energy to another.

Creationists believe that God created the universe out of nothing, but God is outside the realm of science. God created the universe but does not have to follow the laws of nature that He created.

God Himself has much energy and that energy can be transferred to Earth. However, the topic of the Energy of God is beyond the realm of science and is therefore not included in the discussion of normal natural phenomena and observation on Earth.
