The Book of Acts chronicles the history of the early Church of Jesus Christ after the Resurrection, including the works of the apostles and disciples and their missionary trips focused on spreading the new Christian faith in the 1st Century around the Roman Empire in Jerusalem, Asia Minor, Greece, Rome, and North Africa. The Book of Acts is attributed to Luke and is his second work after the Book of Luke. The Book of Acts is believed to have been written around 70-80 A.D. The Book of Acts describes the transition from Jesus to the Church.
