Styles of Architecture in the world began in the first civilizations in the near east and spread east to Asia and West to Europe.
Ancient architecture contained stone and masonry frames. Mound structures were built for ceremonial purposes.
Ziggaurats and Pyramids were built from logic, as wider based buildings lasted longer and were more stable than vertical structures. The ancient builders developed impressive techniques.
Cave dwellings were used by humans by those outcasts who did not want to live in a large civilization. Cave dewllings were also more likely temporary dewllings such as for travellers and hunters. Caves were also commonly used as burial gravesites. Human carved stone dwellings were used in ancient times as a convenient form of housing. Stone Age frame dried masonry was used.
